James K. I've been looking for a good rags to riches romance and Daddy's Promise: New Mommy Comes, Old One Goes exceeded my expectations. Elina's story — the cousin she'd once saved at the cost of her own life? — hits all the right emotional notes. The way Jack slowly realizes what he's lost is perfection. With 676 chapters of slow burn and satisfying payoffs, this is a must-read for romance fans.

Jason A. y'all... this book ATE. i was kicking my feet and giggling. Jack really said 'i'll burn the world for you' and meant it. obsessed.
C
Courtney W. the way this author writes emotional scenes should be studied. i felt EVERYTHING. laughed, cried, threw my phone across the room. 11/10 no notes.

Paige T. Started this at 10pm thinking 'just a few chapters' — next thing I know it's 4am and I'm 300 chapters deep. Send help. (Don't actually, I'm reading the rest tomorrow.)
S
Samantha D. Look, I've read probably 200+ romance novels at this point and this one genuinely surprised me. The plot actually keeps you guessing. Jack is both infuriating and swoon-worthy at the same time.
S
Stephanie A. I literally could not put this down. The tension between Elina and Jack had me screaming at my phone. Finished it in 2 days and now I have a book hangover. Worth every minute.
R
Rachel C. I went into Daddy's Promise: New Mommy Comes, Old One Goes not knowing much about it and was blown away by how engaging the story is. The premise of the cousin she'd once saved at the cost of her own life? hooked me right away, and Elina's strength throughout the story kept me turning pages. Jack is that perfect mix of cold and secretly caring that I can never get enough of. The 676-chapter journey is absolutely worth it.
N
Nick S. The emotional depth in this book caught me off guard. It's not just romance, it's about healing and finding yourself. Elina is a queen and I'll fight anyone who says otherwise.
G
Greg J. Why did I wait so long to read this?? The way Jack falls first and falls HARD is everything. The groveling scenes are top tier. I've already bought the author's other books.
V
Victoria R. I usually skip long books but this one being 676 chapters flew by. The story is that engaging. Didn't want it to end honestly.
B
Brittany K. Finally a heroine who isn't a doormat! Elina has a SPINE and I'm here for every moment of it. Watching her grow is so cathartic.
S
Scott B. Honestly the best rags to riches book I've read this year. The writing flows so well and the chemistry is off the charts. I'll definitely be rereading this one.
C
Charlotte N. Just finished reading Daddy's Promise: New Mommy Comes, Old One Goes and what a ride! Elina starts off in such a tough situation — the cousin she'd once saved at the cost of her own life? — but watching her transform and take control of her life across 676 chapters is so satisfying. Jack had me frustrated and swooning in equal measure. If you love a good rags to riches romance with actual character growth, this one delivers.
