Chapter 1: An Unforgettable Night

Sienna Ainsworth lay on a pristine white hotel bed, her slender, fair neck arched back. Her cheeks flushed with a rosy hue. She felt her soul was being tossed high into the air, again and again.

In this lifetime, Sienna had always believed that Matthias Johanson was the only man for her. But now, she had unexpectedly found someone else, and the experience was surprisingly pleasant.

The man's skills were impressive, although his strength was overwhelming, almost as if he would shatter her.

As she drifted into unconsciousness, Sienna resolved indignantly that next time, she would find someone gentler to tend to her.

The next day, Sienna was awakened by a phone call.

Her assistant reminded her not to forget the high tea organized by the wealthy ladies at three o'clock.

Having just gone through a divorce, it was clear why those women chose this time to invite her out.

Sienna glanced at the clock and realized it was already one o'clock.

As she moved, the arm around her waist tightened, pulling her back into his embrace.

Sienna had never before experienced such intimate physical contact, sleeping entwined with another person. It felt somewhat awkward to her.

She reached out and gently pushed that muscular and well-toned arm.

The memories of last night's passionate moments returned vividly to her mind, where she felt herself lifted to the heights of ecstasy again and again, unable to restrain herself for what seemed like an eternity.

Feeling a flush of heat on her face, Sienna quickly got out of bed, suppressing her discomfort.

The man on the bed was still asleep, half of his face deeply buried in the pillow. All that could be seen were his thick eyebrows and prominent nose bridge.

By the time she finished bathing and changed her clothes, the man had already awakened.

He stood by the window, smoking, his back turned to her, with only a towel wrapped around his waist.

Sienna's gaze couldn't help but linger on him for a while.

With broad shoulders, a narrow waist, and a perky rear, he truly was the top male escort of Fantasia Club.

She hastily wrote a check. "I was very satisfied with your service last night, I'll give you a five-star review. Also, don't smoke in front of me next time."

Upon hearing the sound of the door closing, the man finally turned around.

He picked up the check, flicking it lightly. His thin lips curved up slightly. "Next time, huh?"

Upon exiting the hotel, Kaylee Sherman, Sienna's assistant, had already parked the car at the entrance.

Upon seeing Sienna, Kaylee's eyes nearly popped out.

"Ms. Ainsworth, your neck..."

Naturally, Sienna knew what she looked like at the moment. It was more than just her neck. She guessed that only her face was without the red marks.

The man was undoubtedly skilled, but he was just too rough.

She resolved to sternly caution him next time, forbidding him from kissing her so forcefully. Her skin was naturally fair, making it all too easy for marks to be left behind.

"Why are you overreacting? Is the clothing ready?"

Swiftly, Kaylee handed over the paper bag that was on the passenger seat.

Fortunately, it was a bit cool that day, and she had prepared two silk scarves just in case.

However, Sienna simply tossed the scarves aside, changed her clothes right there in the car, and skillfully applied a delicate layer of makeup.

Upon donning the exquisite diamond tassel earrings, her entire aura immediately radiated an imposing presence.

Kaylee noticed that Sienna was starting to get sleepy and said, "Ms. Ainsworth, perhaps you shouldn't go. After all, those women are just waiting to see you make a fool of yourself."

Sienna closed her eyes. "Why shouldn’t I? It's only them who can't survive without a man. I'm going to teach them a lesson or two."

An hour later, Sienna stepped out of the car at the entrance of the club.

Adorned with diamonds, her sky-high heels sparkled. The champagne-colored satin slip dress she wore perfectly outlined her exquisite figure. Draped over her shoulders was a haute couture black suit jacket.

"Sienna? Why is she here? Didn't she just get divorced?"

"So what if she's considered Fairlake's top beauty? Didn't she still get abandoned by a man? I really don't understand what she's so proud of."

Sienna picked up her wine glass, becoming the center of attention wherever she went. She said with a smile, "I'm in a good mood today, this meal is on me. Everyone, feel free to enjoy."

Someone intentionally chimed in, "Ms. Ainsworth, what's the joyous occasion that has you so delighted?"

Sienna laughed heartily, full of satisfaction. "Isn't regaining freedom something worth celebrating?"

A certain madam, who had been the loudest in her complaints and whose husband had several mistresses, yet still refused to divorce, was rendered speechless by Sienna's remark.

While Sienna was entertaining guests, Kaylee came over with her phone in hand. "Ms. Ainsworth, Mr. Johanson is on the phone."

Matthias asked Sienna to go home.

The marriage has ended, the divorce papers are locked away in a safe, and the property has already been clearly divided. The man I hardly saw at home when we were still husband and wife is actually asking me to come back home after the divorce. How ironic!

When Sienna arrived at the place they had once called home, Matthias was already there.

Chapter 2: Selling The Marital Home

Upon witnessing Sienna's unsteady entrance, Matthias expressed concern with a frown.

"Have you been drinking?"

Sienna disregarded him, kicked off her high heels, wrapped herself in her coat, and collapsed onto the plush couch.

Her current appearance did not present a favorable image.

Then again, Matthias had witnessed her in such a pitiful and unfortunate state countless times before.

Regardless of whether she appeared elegant and intellectual or coarse and arrogant, Matthias simply couldn't be bothered to give her a second glance.

Whatever, the marriage has ended anyway.

Sienna was truly exhausted, both physically and mentally, and she had no desire to engage with her ex-husband.

"What is it? Go ahead and say it."

Observing Sienna on the couch, Matthias noticed that her makeup was meticulously done. It was evident that she had just returned from a party.

Matthias' emotions were somewhat complicated. Initially, he assumed that Sienna, who had suffered a great blow, would be dispirited. Unexpectedly, she was actually doing quite well.

Suppressing the slight discomfort in his heart, Matthias explained his purpose: "There was a slight issue with the project we collaborated on. Could you handle it when you have the time?"

Before he could finish speaking, Sienna began to laugh sneeringly.

"Me? Mr. Johanson, have you lost your mind? The project leader is that beloved sweetheart of yours, yet when problems arise, you send me, your ex-wife, to handle the mess. Do you think that's fair?"

Sienna grew irritated as she spoke. The project was something I painstakingly accomplished with my team, yet in the end, it’s callously taken away by Matthias, as if it’s a gift handed to him on a silver platter.

This matter deeply wounded Sienna's heart, ultimately leading her to make the firm decision to divorce and leave behind this *sshole.

Now that the project was in trouble, Matthias audaciously sought help from her, his ex-wife.

Moreover, he acted as if it was expected for Sienna to bail him out of this mess.

Does he really think I'm still the same Sienna Ainsworth who was infatuated with him?

Sienna turned around and walked away.

At that moment, several individuals dressed in professional suits suddenly entered through the door, followed closely by a meticulously dressed middle-aged couple.

The sudden intrusion of these strangers caused Matthias' handsome face to darken.

"Who are you? How did you get the keys to my house?"

It was then that Sienna remembered. "They are from the real estate agency. I've already listed this house for sale."

Matthias could hardly believe what he had heard. "Sienna, you're actually planning to sell our marital home?"

Sienna raised her eyebrows. "Of course. We're already divorced. Am I supposed to keep it around just to torment myself?"

She no longer wanted anything to do with the house or the man.

After leaving the marital home, Sienna dared not return to the Ainsworth residence. She dreaded facing her mother's tears.

Instead, she had Kaylee take her to Regalia Mansion.

Regalia Mansion was her mother, Melanie Abbott's, dowry, and now it had been passed on to her.

Upon her return, the butler, Lucas Gulliver, personally stepped forward to take her coat. Then he instructed the housekeepers to prepare a bath and even lit her favorite fragrance for Sienna.

As Sienna ascended the stairs, she casually removed her earrings and handed them to Kaylee, her voice filled with a languid tone. "I'm too tired. I need someone to give me a massage."

Kaylee followed closely by her side, carefully receiving the earrings, watch, and rings Sienna had taken off. "Okay, and I'll bring you some yogurt shortly."

Sienna casually hummed in agreement.

After taking a bath, she received a thorough massage from the massage therapist.

The therapist was employed by the household, solely responsible for providing massages to Sienna. Even upon seeing the numerous marks covering her body, the massage therapist merely paused slightly without uttering a word.

After the massage and a full-body treatment, Sienna fell asleep.

Suddenly, her phone rang.

As the person in charge of Ainsworth Group, she typically kept both of her phones on standby twenty-four hours a day.

It was her private phone that was ringing.

It was a message from an unfamiliar number: Where is your five-star review?

Sienna gently typed on the screen of her phone: Five-star review?

Two seconds passed, and suddenly, the memory of a pair of strong arms crashed into her mind.

She asked Kaylee, who was next to her, "What's the name of that person from last night? Kay..."

She vaguely remembered the man's name as it shared a similar first name with Kaylee.

"Ms. Ainsworth, it was Kayden Schneider. You complimented him for living up to his name—young and gentle."

Sienna's attractive almond-shaped eyes slightly narrowed.

"Really? I can't seem to remember."

Last night, her best friend, Stephanie Moore, celebrated Sienna's divorce by taking her to Fantasia Club, where she ordered a lineup of young and handsome men.

In the end, Sienna chose Kayden, who claimed to be a recent college graduate. He had a clean-cut appearance, and it was evident that he had yet to be influenced by the complexities of society.

Later on, after getting drunk, unexpectedly, she ended up sleeping with him.

Ah, so what if I've slept with him? I have no plans to marry again, anyway. Matthias had extinguished all her aspirations for love and marriage.

Why don't I find a companion to indulge and pamper me? If he doesn't meet my expectations, I can simply replace him with another. Doesn't that sound delightful?

With this thought in mind, she instructed Kaylee, "Tell Kayden that I would like him to be my sugar baby. He will undergo a full-body check-up, and he has to quit smoking."

Chapter 3: Who Was That Man

"Huh?" Kaylee was surprised for a moment. Then, she quickly composed herself and said, "I understand."

After assigning the task to Kaylee, Sienna didn't think about it anymore and went back to her room to sleep.

Meanwhile, the man who had sent the message smiled indulgently when he didn't receive a response.

At that moment, someone knocked on the door and entered the room. "Mr. Callan, Old Mr. Moore wants to hold a grand feast. Since you rarely come back, he wants to celebrate the occasion. It will also be an opportunity for you to meet other relatives in the family."

The man replied calmly, "Don't announce my return just yet. We can have the feast later. Also, please postpone my departure as I have some personal matters to attend to. I haven't decided on an exact date yet."

"Understood. I will make the arrangements immediately," the assistant responded promptly.

By the time Sienna woke up, the sky was already bright. Since she didn't have any plans until the afternoon, Kaylee didn't wake her up.

When she went downstairs, Kaylee informed her, "Ms. Ainsworth, Mrs. Ainsworth has requested that you return home immediately."

"Is something wrong?"

"Mr. Johanson has come over."

Sienna's face turned unpleasant. Matthias Johanson, that sc*undrel! He's doing all this to make me clean up his mess, isn't he? In the past, he never visited my mother during any celebrations. But now that we're divorced, he has actually swallowed his pride and showed up for the sake of his sweetheart. I thought we would have nothing to do with each other after our divorce. I never expected to see each other even more frequently than before. That j*rk knows how to make one's skin crawl.

She arrived at the Ainsworth residence during lunchtime.

The sound of her high heels broke the awkward silence in the living room, and the two women in the house felt relieved when she returned.

There were no men in the Ainsworth family. Sienna's grandfather passed away shortly after her birth, and her father also died in a car accident when she was eighteen.

All eyes were on Sienna. The elderly Gloria Lawson, Sienna's grandmother, and her mother Melanie felt reassured when they saw her.

"Why are you here?" Sienna asked rudely, even though she already knew the answer.

Matthias furrowed his brows, thinking that Sienna had become prickly after the divorce.

Afraid that they might start arguing again, Melanie hurried over to mediate. "Enna, Matthias came to visit me and your grandmother. He's a guest, so be nice to him."

Melanie was from the South and had a soft-spoken nature. She had been pampered by her parents before marriage and doted on by her in-laws and husband after getting married. After her husband passed away, she was then doted on by her daughter.

She was so sweet and delicate that she would even shed tears at the sight of autumn leaves covering the ground.

No matter how angry she was, Sienna had to suppress her anger in front of her mother. This j*rk took advantage of that vulnerability and deliberately came here to pressure me.

She put on the house slippers brought by the housekeeper, took off her coat, took a deep breath, and decided to "be nice."

Before she could say anything, Matthias suddenly grabbed her arm.

His eyes widened in astonishment as he looked at her neck. "What's that on your neck?"

The love bite on her neck hadn't faded even after a day, and it had turned somewhat purplish.

"Why are you so worked up? Is it any of your concern?" she asked, amused by his reaction.

Her nonchalant attitude made him even angrier. "Answer me! What's that on your neck?"

"Take a guess." The more curious he was, the more she refrained from answering. Is he joking? He wouldn't even touch me after we got married, saying I disgusted him. He spent our entire wedding night cuddling up with his sweetheart at their love nest, leaving me alone in our empty room. I lived like a grass widow until our divorce. Who is he trying to fool with this pretense of concern now?

Matthias glared at her, his eyes filled with fury. He wished he could crush her into pieces. "How dare you? How dare you treat me like this? Who was it? Who was that man?"

Sienna shook off his hand, thinking that his behavior was utterly ridiculous. "Why wouldn't I dare? Who do you think you are?"

She hadn't had breakfast and was feeling hungry. All she wanted was to send Matthias away quickly so he wouldn't ruin her appetite. "Let me reiterate once more. If there are any issues with the project, you should discuss them with the person responsible. If the problem is on our end, have someone communicate with the person in charge. I'm very busy. If every minor issue requires my attention, what's the point of having so many employees? Wendy, please see the guest out."

Matthias stared fixedly at the love bite, his gaze almost burning through her skin.

He didn't even know why he was consumed with rage.

She was a woman he had always wanted to break free from, and now, he had finally managed to do so. However, when he saw the marks left by another man on her neck, he found himself wanting to kill that man.

Chapter 4: A Rare Find

Matthias, a proud man, couldn't bring himself to act clingy. "You'd better hope I don't find that man. Otherwise, I'll make sure he regrets ever touching you."

After saying that, he left in a huff. Surprisingly, not a single word about the project was mentioned.

Once he had left, Sienna went to her mother, complaining of hunger.

Having been in a similar situation before, Melanie naturally knew what the love bite on her daughter's neck meant. "Enna, do you have a boyfriend?"

"Boyfriend? I wouldn't say so." Sienna didn't want her mother to worry about her personal affairs, so she responded evasively, "Mom, don't worry about me. I know what I'm doing, and I've never been as clear-headed as I am now."

Nonetheless, Melanie still felt some regret. "So, there's no turning back for you and Matthias? From what I saw earlier, it seems like he still cares about you quite a bit."

Gloria, who had been silent the entire time, let out a snort. "Why turn back? With plenty of fish in the sea, why insist on settling for him? You did the right thing, Enna. The women of the Ainsworth family know when to move on. I support you."

Sienna hugged her grandmother and gave her a kiss. "Thank you for your wise words, Grandma."

Meanwhile, Zavier hurriedly opened the car door when he saw Matthias storm out of the Ainsworth residence.

As Matthias bent over to climb into the car, he instructed, "Find all the men who have been close to Sienna. Now!"

Zavier was surprised. Didn't he go to discuss the project with Ms. Ainsworth? Who are these men he's talking about?

However, seeing how Matthias was seething with anger, he dared not ask any questions and hastily acknowledged.

The car had just started when there came a phone call from Loretta. "Matthias, did Sienna agree to help?"

Only then did Matthias come to his senses and realize he had been too preoccupied with his anger and forgotten to discuss the important matter at hand.

After having lunch with her grandmother and mother, Sienna changed into a fresh set of clothes and went to the office.

She had a video conference that afternoon as there had been some issues with one of the investment companies under Ainsworth Group.

Finding it tiresome as she listened to the others argue with each other, she crossed her arms and said, "Since all of you can't even solve this minor issue, it seems you're not fit to remain at Ainsworth Group. If you resign voluntarily, you'll receive the penalty fee for breach of contract plus half a year's salary."

Everyone in the video conference was stunned.

In less than two hours, a brand new proposal was ready.

Once the meeting ended, Jess Zimmerman, Sienna's executive assistant, entered the room with some documents. "Ms. Ainsworth, this is the contract for Project Capston. Please have a look. Also, those in charge of Project Skyward wish to meet you and hope you could spare them ten minutes."

Project Skyward was the project Matthias had taken away and given to Loretta.

"I'm busy. Tell them we're not obliged to take responsibility if it's not our problem, nor should we worry needlessly for others. If Project Skyward has lost money in Loretta's hands, I have plenty of ways to get it back from Matthias. But if there was a problem on our end, then they can pack their things and leave."

Jess had worked with Sienna for over a year and knew very well that she stood by her word when it came to work matters. She may be a young lady of no more than twenty-five years old, but one shouldn't be fooled by her appearance. Her business acumen is just as good as any man's, if not better. In fact, she's even more decisive and efficient than men at times. Working at Ainsworth Group is stressful, but the remuneration is widely recognized as one of the best in the industry. There are no issues there.

Making no comment, Jess relayed the message verbatim.

Then, Kaylee walked in. "Ms. Ainsworth, Kayden has completed his health checkup. Should we send him to the Regalia Mansion or..."

"So soon?" Sienna was somewhat surprised.

Kaylee couldn't help but think that there would have been no delay. Everyone at Fantasia Club was green with envy when they heard she's going to be Kayden's sugar mommy. Wealthy ladies are a common sight, but it's rare to find a wealthy lady who is young, beautiful, and rich.

Everyone knew that Sienna had just divorced. If she happened to take a liking to Kayden, he would have more money than he could spend in his lifetime, perhaps even in his next life.

Regalia Mansion was where Sienna lived, and she didn't like bringing outsiders there. Hence, she instructed, "Let him stay in the small mansion at Emerald Abode."

"Understood," Kaylee replied.

After that, Sienna forgot all about the matter as she was simply too busy. That night, she had to fly south on short notice and didn't return until three days later.

While taking a bath, the sight of her bare neck suddenly reminded her of Kayden, and she promptly made her way to Emerald Abode.

It was dusk when she arrived. As soon as she went in, she saw a tall, slender young man in a white shirt watering the flowers in the yard.

He had a watering can in his hand and bent slightly at the waist.

His figure appeared somewhat thin, and his wrists were not much thicker than her own.

She narrowed her eyes slightly. With that physique, could he have really... lifted me? His back doesn't look as broad as the other day. Could it be that he appears slimmer when dressed but is actually muscular under his clothes?

Chapter 5: Slept With The Wrong Person

"Is this Kayden?"

Kaylee glanced and confirmed, "Yes, it's him. He moved in three days ago."

Sienna was somewhat puzzled, but she didn't say anything more and instructed Kaylee to let Kayden in.

Since she had some free time that day, she decided to take the opportunity to get to know Kayden. After all, they would be seeing each other often in the future.

Kayden entered.

He had just washed his hands and was drying them with a white towel as he hurriedly stepped in.

"Ms. Ainsworth, you've arrived."

Looking at Kayden, Sienna recognized him as the same person she had seen that day at Fantasia Club.

His complexion was fair, and he exuded a gentle, refined charm.

However, she couldn't shake the feeling that something seemed off.

"Come, have a seat. Let's chat," Sienna said with a smile. She was in quite a good mood.

"Yes, Ms. Ainsworth."

Kayden took a seat across from Sienna, his slender, clean hands casually resting on his lap. His clear gaze was fixed on her, his expression natural and devoid of any awkwardness. Unlike others, he did not flatter or try to win her favor upon seeing her.

It was precisely because of his pleasing demeanor that Sienna took an immediate liking to him among all the young men.

As the conversation was about to begin, Sienna suddenly realized something:

"Are there no servants here? There isn't even any coffee."

Just as Kaylee was about to speak, Kayden interjected, "I've dismissed the servant, thinking that you might not appreciate outsiders around. I apologize for making the decision on my own, Ms. Ainsworth."

As he spoke, he stood up. "Let me make you some coffee."

Aside from being exceptionally strict when it came to work, Sienna was usually quite laid-back.

This mansion was intended for Kayden to reside in, so he was left to arrange and manage it as he saw fit.

Soon, Kayden brewed a pot of coffee and brought it over. It was Black Ivory Coffee, her favorite.

Sienna was very pleased. It seemed that Kayden had not been idle these past three days. Instead, he had already thoroughly understood her preferences.

He was sensible, intelligent, pleasing to the eye, and efficient in his work.

Sienna took a sip of tea, her tone nonchalant and relaxed. "Have you quit smoking?"

Kayden obediently replied, "I don't smoke, Ms. Ainsworth."

Sienna was taken aback, the previous doubts that lingered in her mind resurfacing. "You never smoked before?"

Noticing the change in her expression, Kayden grew anxious as well. "No, I've never smoked before. My father was diagnosed with lung cancer and needed treatment. That's why I'm here... So, I don't smoke."

Sienna turned to look at Kaylee.

Kaylee was puzzled by Sienna's gaze. "Ms. Ainsworth, what Kayden said is true. His father was indeed hospitalized with lung cancer, and his mother passed away due to illness two years ago. He used to work at an investment company, but he resigned because he needed a large sum of money and went to work at Fantasia Club."

Sienna waved her hand.

That's not right. Kayden isn't the person from that night.

She looked at Kayden and said, "Take off your shirt."

After a moment of stunned silence, Kayden began unbuttoning his shirt.

He didn't understand what the attractive woman before him wanted, but he was well aware of his own identity and knew he had no choice but to comply.

Once the shirt was removed, the man's frail and thin figure was revealed.

Sienna stepped forward and poked his chest with her finger.

Kayden's face turned bright red in embarrassment when Sienna started touching him in broad daylight.

He was inexperienced, and despite mentally preparing himself thoroughly, he was still very nervous at that moment.

In response, he awkwardly turned his head away.

Sienna maintained her usual composure on the surface, but the doubts in her heart intensified.

She gave Kayden's arm another squeeze. It was soft and flabby, lacking any muscle, let alone texture.

Sienna became increasingly certain that Kayden was not the man from that night.

She had slept with the wrong person.

Then, she took another careful look at Kayden's face.

That morning, the room was dim with the curtains drawn. The man's prominent nose and thick eyebrows were a stark contrast to Kayden's delicate, elegant features. They gave off entirely different vibes.

"You are not him," Sienna confidently asserted.

Both Kaylee and Kayden were taken aback.
