Chapter 1: Betrayal

It is said that every wife expects a surprise from her husband on their wedding anniversary, and so do I.

“No matter what I did wrong, you'll forgive me, right?”

My husband, Ron, sat across the table from me and looked at me gravely.

“Yes?” The lights in the fancy restaurant made me dizzy for a moment. I thought I was hearing things.

“You know how much I want to have a baby. He will be the heir to our company. But we've been trying for so many years and we're always disappointed. I even thought about giving up.”

“I’m so sorry!” I put the unopened box back on the table. I felt a bit uneasy that my husband had suddenly brought up the subject. My gut tells me that the following discussion may not be a pleasant one.

I looked down, afraid to meet my husband's eyes, only to catch a glimpse of his thin lips pressed into a line. When I graduated from college at the age of 22, my father married me to him, Ron Moore. I knew it was my destiny to marry a businessman and turn my happiness into a tool of family bondage, but the moment I learned my fiance's name, the 22-year-old me still covered my mouth in surprise.

Ron Moore, the youngest Moore heir. The man all the girls in the merchant's family want to marry.

"Marry him, help him, give him an heir, be a good wife, so that our family can be protected forever," my father whispered in my ear on our wedding day.

I nodded. "I will."

After I got married, I did everything my father asked me to do. I became the Mrs. Moore that everyone admired and imitated. I provide my husband with emotional support and business advice, help him socialize in high society, and deal with secret and tricky issues. I can assure you that, apart from not being pregnant, I am doing better than any other lady in high society.

During those seven years, Ron would occasionally complain that he didn't have children, but he never expressed much dissatisfaction because he needed me in his business and in his life. But today, on our seventh wedding anniversary, he brought it up again.

“Good news, your younger sister Gina is pregnant,” Ron said in a cheery tone. “You should be happy for that unborn child.”

I was stunned for a second. Gina never told me she had a boyfriend. I always thought my father would choose a business marriage for her, just like mine. I looked at Ron and nodded. Anyway, I should be happy for my sister and her unborn child. That's a good thing.

“That's my baby,” Ron said casually, as if saying something unimpressive.

His words struck me like lightning, and my hands trembled. My head was full of loud buzzing sounds which made me only see Ron's moving lips. I felt like I had sunk to the bottom of an icy chill lake, completely unable to hear what he was saying.

It probably took me a few minutes until I shook out of my stupor. I knew that my world was collapsing!

He always said he would be loyal to me, but now he has easily broken the oath we made in front of God!

Why my sister? When did they start?

Why was I never aware of that?

D.amn it!

By the time I got my wits about me, I was madly running out and driving straight to Gina's apartment.

An hour later, I staggered out of the car and knocked on her door with trembling lips. I wish I were sick. I wish I'd realized I was just having a bad dream and I would open my eyes the next second.

Please, let me wake up from this nightmare.

But the reality was still cruel——Gina opened the door with a bathrobe, and her curly red hair was dripping with water.

She seemed to know why I was there. She leaned against the doorjamb and shook her hair deliberately. The water in her hair was flung into my face, and my skin stung as if she had slapped me.

“Why you?” I screamed. “Why do you take everything that belongs to me? Why?”

She didn't answer me. She just looked at me provocatively and then looked behind me.

“Answer me! Why are you doing this? Do you know that this is a real blow to me?”

Gina still hasn't answered. A few seconds later, she suddenly squatted down in pain. Then someone ran up behind me. Gina shouted, “Help! She…She's going to kill me and my baby!”

I saw blood flowing down the curve of her leg on the floor.

“No, not me!”

I was caught by a pair of big hands. “No! Let me go! I'm Mrs. Moore. You can't do this to me!”

But no one replied to me, I was held down like a criminal, and my ears were filled with my heavy, painful breathing.

……………………………………

I woke up again. The windowless room told me that I was still in prison. The damp, rancid smell brought me back from my dream. I'm still in this d.amn prison, where the Moore family secretly executed prisoners.

Yes, Gina miscarried. She claimed I was the murderer, but I didn't touch her at all.

But my explanation didn't help. Ron locked me in here!

"What were you shouting about?" The ugly bald guard with the scar on his face opened the door with his key and came in. He raised his whip and threw it directly at me.

"You need to learn how to shut up!"

"I want to see my husband, Ron, and tell him I'm pregnant," I told the guard, enduring the pain of the flogging.

Just a few days ago, I realized that my period had been delayed. So I traded the only valuable watch I had on me for a pregnancy test by bribing another guard, and it turned out I was pregnant!

The guard grinned scornfully. "Are you sure it's not mine?"

He squatted in front of me and stared at my breasts with a perverted look. "I've never enjoyed a boss's wife. Is your wet garden salty, too?"

I spat in the guard's face in disgust. "Shut your mouth," I said, "As Mrs. Moore, I order you to tell Ron I want to see him!"

The guard wiped the spit from his face with his hand, and his lascivious eyes continued to scan my body, "There is no Mrs. Moore here, only the prisoner, and I think Mr. Moore must have known that the female prisoner was being ridden like a horse in prison. Do you think he would believe that the child in your belly is his?"

"How can you help me?" My voice softened. I had to rely on him to see my husband.

"You know what to do!" The guard stood up and began to undo his belt. Then the phone rang. It was his cell phone.

He grunted and strode out of the cell with his trousers up, but he was soon back again. I noticed that his belt was fastened to his waist, and the man's face showed his displeasure at being interrupted.

"Someone will see you in five minutes!"

Chapter 2: Death

“Is that Ron?” I asked eagerly, and when I tried to stand up, the guard glared at me. So, I had to crouch down.

“Stay here!” The guard turned away after he said.

Five minutes of suffering is just as long as five hours for me. I can't tell how many five minutes I've spent in this dingy prison, but I felt excited as long as I thought about someone finally willing to visit me. The one who came must have been Ron. He must have found out the truth and come to save me. Yes, it must be. He's my husband. We've been married for 7 years. He certainly wouldn't forget his wife.

I touched my belly and tried to tell the baby that it was his dad coming. However, he is too small to give me any response. But it doesn't matter. He will grow. He will grow up happily with his dad and mom. It definitely will.

“Don't worry, Daddy will help us out of here!” I stroked my belly, put my head against the cold wall, and whispered the songs of my childhood, dreaming of a better life.

Just then, the sound of high-heeled shoes on the floor came, slow and sharp. I listened carefully to see if there were any other footsteps, but there weren't. The sound floated from far to near in this silent cage.

A premonition came over me. Why isn't my husband Ron? A female scent wafted into my nostrils, growing stronger and more aggressive.

“Hello, my sister!” A pair of red high-heeled shoes stopped in front of the cell. I looked up slowly from the tip of the woman's shoe to her face. A red diamond necklace was shining brightly. It’s my mom’s legacy and it belongs to me. And now it's around this woman's neck.

The woman in front of me who was wearing delicate make-up was not only my sister, but also my husband's mistress. She's the one who destroyed everything!

“That's my necklace!” I stood up and glared at my sister, Gina.

I reached through the bars of the cell and tried to grab the necklace. But Gina quickly took a step back with a victorious smile showing on her face.

“Now it belongs to me!” Said Gina triumphantly, touching the red diamond around her neck. “Ron gave it to me!”

“You are lying!” I roared at her. “Give back my necklace! ”

“Not only your necklace, but your husband is mine now,” Gina said, deliberately touching a lock of her curly hair to reveal the ambiguous mark on her neck. “See, he was with me when you were in this stinking prison. We had crazy s.ex from day to night.”

“That's impossible!” I screamed. “I need to see Ron!”

Is a seven-year marriage really that fragile?

My voice attracted two jailers, including the ugly man who was guarding me. But Gina told them, in a commanding voice, “Open the cell door and shut the woman up!”

The jailer opened the cell door with the key. He slapped me hard at first, then he and the other jailer grabbed me by the shoulder and made me kneel on the ground. Gina stepped into the cell. She wrinkled her nose in disgust, then took a document out of her bag and threw it in front of me. I looked down. Even though the cell was dark, I could see two distinct signatures on the document.

“Open your eyes and have a look. This execution document was signed by Ron and our father. You must die today!”

Everything Gina said was like a knife slicing through my heart. I couldn't believe it. How had my husband, who was married with me for seven years, sentenced me to death? And how had my father agreed with his decision? Even though my father always had a cold attitude towards me, I still tried to be a good daughter, but he actually wanted me to die.

What really broke my heart was my husband, Ron. He had so rashly sentenced me to death. He wouldn't even see me before I died.

“I want to see Ron! I'm pregnant with his child!” I yelled at the two guards around me, “No one can kill a lady when she is pregnant with Moore’s child!”

My voice resonated throughout the prison. One of the jailers asked Gina in a hesitant voice, “If she's really pregnant, we can't just kill her! If the boss knows it...”

“She's not pregnant at all!” Gina interrupted the jailer. “She's lying. If this woman was pregnant, why didn't she tell Ron? It's just a ploy to buy time. Kill her now!”

“If you kill me, Ron will come after you!” I warned them.

Gina frowned. She stared at me with cunning blue eyes, “Eve, you killed my child, and he's Ron's child too. Even if you get pregnant, I will trade your child's life for mine. It's still a good deal!”

“I didn't do that!” I protested aloud. “Gina, you did! You framed me! You planned all of this!”

“So?” Gina sneered. “A witness has testified that you killed my child, and now you are the sinner and the murderer of the Moore family!”

A witness? My body went cold at once. This so-called witness must have been brought in by Gina. This is a premeditated frame-up!

“I will let you die slowly,” Gina said, drawing a sharp dagger from one of the jailers. She approached me step by step, eyes vicious.

“Is that why you wanted Ron to see you? Do you think Ron would forgive you if he knew you were pregnant? No, it's impossible!”

“Gina, you can't hurt my baby!” I begged desperately.

“As you wish!” Gina sneered as she stabbed me in the heart with her knife.

I feel a pain I've never felt before in my life. It's fierce and unrelenting! At the end of my life, I heard the last voice from my sister, Gina.

“Every man will betray his wife!”

Chapter 3: Reborn

My heart was dead, my breathing was getting weaker, and my vision was getting blurry. At that moment, I could clearly feel the child in my belly disappear, forever! I can even hear his last cry, sad, mournful and painful.

The darkness soon enveloped me, as if I had fallen into a bottomless pit. There is nothing under my feet. I just keep falling down. It's cold, it's dark! It's hopeless!

No, God! I don't want to die like this! I shouted with all my strength, even if I couldn't make any sound, but I was still trying to shout from the bottom of my heart.

God, help me! It's not fair! I've never done anything wrong in my life. I've never hurt anyone. Why? Why do I have to suffer such injustice? Why could these bastards enjoy all of this?

Why can my sister take everything away from me, but I have to go to endless hell! Why does my unborn child have to die like this?

However, no one could hear me, and I felt I was getting weaker and weaker. All the memories began to be pulled away violently from my mind, and I gradually forgot everything in my previous life, even my name. In the void, I will become a wisp of white smoke.

God, please! Please don't let me disappear like this!

"I do not want to die like this! I pray for you. Please do not end my life!" I cried and begged.

"There is a law to everything in the world. My girl, your life shouldn't have ended this way. I can help you."

God is willing to give me a second chance, right?

“Revenge! Revenge!” I roared.

"Now go back, back to where you belong!" The voice went farther and farther away and soon disappeared into the abyss.

I felt a cold needle thrust into my body.

My body no longer feels pain. All the pieces of memory that I had just forgotten now slowly came back to me.

When I regained consciousness, I found myself lying on a soft bed. I looked around. This was my room. Nothing had changed. Is this heaven or earth? I can't even tell.

Is God hear my cry? Is she willing to give me a chance to rise? I can't believe it. I sat up and looked at the picture on the dresser. That's me and my husband, Ron, on our wedding day!

In the picture, I'm leaning on Ron in my white wedding dress, and we're so happy. But now when I see this picture again, I just feel sick and want to tear it up immediately!

I looked around my room. The carpet was gray, and a painting of a sunrise over the sea hung on the white wall. All I could see in the room was the same as when I was in my previous life.

To make sure it wasn't a dream, I decided to touch every object in the room with my fingers. It is said that ghosts cannot touch real objects in the world, yet I can easily pick up every object I see.

Maybe it wasn't a dream!

I am reborn!

At this time, the door was opened. When I looked up, I saw my husband, Ron! He was wearing a black suit and tie. He looked at me unhappily.

"Why aren't you dressed?"

I didn't know what to do. I stared at him, stunned. As if he were a stranger! My heart was shocked, twisted, and finally turned to rage!

This is the man who betrayed our marriage! And now he's standing right in front of me!

"Are you listening to me, Eva?" Ron came up to me and pointed to my clothes. "The doctor said you had recovered. Do you want to go to a funeral in your pajamas? It’s your best friend's husband's funeral. Are you sure you want to do that?"

"What?" My ears finally picked up his voice. "Whose funeral?"

"Jeff's funeral! He's dead!" Ron purposely raised his voice as he picked out a random black dress from my closet and tossed it on the bed.

"You have three minutes to change!"

Ron stormed out of the room and shut the door. I was still frozen in place and did not react. I need a few minutes to get my head around it. I died and came back to life. I went back to the day before I died, but as far as I could remember, Jeff hadn't died in my last life, and I hadn't been to his funeral.

So which day did I go back to?

To confirm this important information, I quickly rummaged through my bag for my phone, which showed the current time. The last time I remember is July 14,2020, the seventh anniversary of my wedding to Ron.

Luckily, my phone was still in my bag, so I couldn't wait to read the calendar. It was July 7, 2020, the week before my wedding anniversary.

No, it's not true! I'm pretty sure I don't remember this experience at all in my previous life. I was confused, and my heart was filled with doubts! Is God joking with me?

Ron knocked on the door hurriedly and rudely. His voice came through the crack in the door. "Are you ready? The car is ready to go!"

I looked at the black dress on the bed and looked in the direction of the door. I could see Ron standing impatiently outside the door.

As I pushed the door open, Ron grabbed my wrist and pulled me down the stairs. His hands were filled with strength and heat. As I sat with him in the car, next to his body, I could smell the faint scent of tobacco mixed with mint. I could even hear his heartbeat.

I rolled down the window and let the sun cover the palm of my hand. The golden sun was warm. The whistling wind was cool. Every tree and grass along the road was full of life.

We came to the funeral. I saw every familiar face. The ones I liked and the ones I hated, and they were all mixed up in the crowd. The men were dressed in black and wore black ties, and their faces were gloomy. The women wore black dresses, hats with black gauze covering their heads, and light makeup on their faces.

Each of them greeted me respectfully, calling me Mrs. Moore as they had done before. I used to think of these people as my friends, but why did they disappear after I went to prison? Not even a single person will help me! None!

I let go of Ron's hand and wandered through the crowd, slowly and at a loss. I smelled each person, and felt their temperature and smell —— smelly, pungent, hot or cold!

Their voices lingered in my ears, and my brain automatically blocked what they were saying. These sounds run through my eardrums like water, but they are real!

I walked to the corner of the graveyard and took a deep breath. Looking back at the people in black! Now I know for sure, I'm back! I'm alive! I died after I was betrayed, but now I'm back.

Chapter 4: The Funeral

“Eva!” a pretty low voice rang out behind me. I turned back and saw Liv dressed in all black. She was my old friend, Jeff's wife, but now, she's a widow!

Liv held my hands, and I felt the coldness in her palms. Her eye sockets were sunken, and the whites of her eyes were bloodshot.

Even if her face was covered with a thick layer of foundation, it could not hide her haggard appearance!

“I'm sorry about Jeff,” I said in a soothing tone. “I’ll always be with you, Liv!”

“Thanks for coming!” Liv's voice was as cold as her palm, and she didn't say anything else. She let go of my hand and continued to greet the other guests. Watching Liv's emaciated figure move slowly through the crowd, I couldn't help feeling a little sad. Losing a lover is a painful thing.

Would Ron have been sad to lose me in my last life?? No, he won't!

I watched as the coffin containing Jeff's body was sunk into the soil, and almost everyone's face showed sadness. Only Liv, her eyes stared at the coffin, silent and expressionless. When everyone left, she was the only one who stayed.

I wanted to stay with Liv, but Ron urged me to hurry home because he had left an important document in his study. It's an application to merge the companies, which is his biggest concern currently.

“Eva, darling!” Ron found me in the kitchen and set his papers on the rectangular table. “I need a whisky on the rocks!”

As my life habit, I did what he asked. Ron tore off his black tie with one hand and threw it aside. With the other, he raised his glass and began to drink.

“I've had a lot on my plate lately, Eva, and I need your help,” Ron told me, “Regarding Jeff's death, he was found murdered and his body dumped at sea! Of course, I kept the news from the public. Apart from his wife, very few people know the cause of Jeff's death!”

I was shocked. Jeff was not only my husband's right-hand man, but also a former Mafia member. Who would kill him?

“Maybe they're not after Jeff!” Rowen looks at me meaningfully. “I'm guessing it has something to do with the business merger next month -- the competition!”

“So what are you going to do?” I asked.

“Keep an eye out for suspicious individuals,” Ron said of his plan. “I need your help!”

“I thought you were going to let me handle the merger of the gas company,” I said.

“I have someone in mind for the case,” Ron said as the cell phone in his pocket rang. So he answered the phone with his back to me.

There was a roaring sound in my head, like a lot of bees vibrating their wings in my ears. The sound was disturbing my thoughts, and Ron's back was getting blurry in my vision.

He was my husband and condemned me to death in my last life. Why am I still talking to him calmly, even accepting his work schedule? Maybe I should just ask him why he cheated on my sister and why he doesn't love me.

But why would he admit that? There is still a week to go before our wedding anniversary. Did I let that damn thing happen again? No, I'm sick of that damn prison. I'm sick of being teased like a dog by the jailers.

I'll ask him myself. I want to see his shocked expression. I want to know how he explained it to me!

“Ron!” I said, gazing at my husband as he ended the call. “I have a question for you! It's very important!”

Ron looked up at the watch on his wrist. “I'm sorry, Eva, but I have something more important to take care of back at the office.

“What's so important?” I asked.

“I told you. I'm in a hurry!” Ron said impatiently as he picked up his phone and turned to leave.

I watched Ron trot out the door, then the sound of a car starting. My mind started again. Where was he going? Why didn't he tell me? Was he meeting Gina in secret?

At the funeral, I saw a woman smiling at Ron but he was pretending not to see her! Was he seeing other women behind my back, or was it a one-night stand?

I looked at everything familiar in the house. I remember when I first decorated the house, I picked out every item with the expectation of happiness.

This was my home! But now, it doesn't belong to me anymore when I die. Will my husband take his new love and take everything that used to belong to me? Gina loves all the luxuries. She's going to remodel my house. She will erase every trace of what was once mine!

God, I'm going crazy! I'm suffocating!

I grabbed my purse and shoved the door open. I drove in the direction Ron had left. Three blocks later, I found Ron's Ferrari.

He was waiting for a red light at a crossroad. I looked up at the sign. It wasn't the way to the office.

Ron really lied to me!

I gripped the steering wheel, and after the red light turned green, the Ferrari made a slow left turn. The car in front of me was stuck like a snail, so I honked my horn frantically and even stuck my head out of the window to curse. I didn't put my head back in the car until the car in front of me moved.

But when I caught up, the Ferrari was gone. I lost him! Angry, I drove down the street until night fell and the rows of lighted streetlights were as bright as the stars at night. These streetlights seemed to be telling the passers-by that it was time to go home!

Finally, I was discouraged. I knew it was a waste of time to look for something so aimless. So I pulled over to the side of the road. Physically and mentally exhausted, I put my head on the steering wheel and cried.

What am I supposed to do? I banged my head on the steering wheel, and just as I looked up, a Ferrari appeared in my line of sight.

The car pulled into a parking garage at a bar with a neon sign that read: screaming and passion!

To avoid being recognized, I put on a pair of sunglasses before I got out of the car. But when I got to the door of the bar, the big security guard stopped me directly. He asked to see my membership card. I was stunned. I didn't expect this to be a membership bar.

One can only imagine how many untold scandals are hidden in this magnificent door. But I couldn't get in! I could only circle outside the door like a stray cat that had been chased away.

“Eva?” A light, cheerful voice said behind me. “Why are you here?”

I turned my head and was shocked!

Chapter 5: The Mystery Man

“Liv?” I couldn't believe that the woman in mourning this morning had become someone else in the evening.

The woman in front of me was wearing a yellow halterneck top and a miniskirt. She had round earrings on each side of her ears. Her face was heavily made up, and her red lips were smiling at me.

Liv clearly saw my embarrassment, so she took out a gold membership card from her fancy Chanel bag and waved it in front of the security guard.

“This lady is my friend!”

The round-faced security guard put on a fawning face at once and gave Liv and me a smile as we entered the bar.

We walked down a blue, glowing circular passageway to the bar lobby, where masked waiters were shuttling plates from table to table. They were all topless and wearing nothing but a pair of briefs.

A few naked pole dancers on the stage are doing a very provocative dance, the music loud and full of passion. The men and women sitting closest to the stage let out sharp shouts from time to time. They seemed to be competing with the stereo for the loudest voice.

Screaming and Passion! The name of this bar is as vulgar as her guests! My eyes darted back and forth across the darkened hall. Where was Ron?

Liv took my hand and walked to the booth when a man in a black mask came up to her and asked what kind of wine she wanted. She nudged me and said, “Eva, would you like a drink?”

“It's up to you,” I replied casually, still looking for Ron. Liv leaned over and asked curiously.

“Why don't you take off your sunglasses?”

“I'm fine with it!” After the search failed, my attention shifted to Liv. “Seriously, no one is going to believe you that you just lost your husband.”

Apparently, losing her husband wasn't as painful for Liv as outsiders thought. On the contrary, she seemed happy! Otherwise, she wouldn't have come to the bar hours after the funeral!

“Eva, have a drink with me!” Liv held a glass of wine onto the table in front of me, and before I could pick it up, she finished her drink.

I held the glass in my hand and looked at her quietly. With a woman's intuition, I knew she would have something to say to me next. Sure enough, less than a few seconds. Liv lowered her head and spoke at a volume only I could hear.

“I'm free, Eva!”

Liv said, lifting the corner of her dress to reveal a visible scar on her lower abdomen. She pointed to the scar and said, “This is what Jeff did to me! Do you know why I always put so much foundation on my face? It’s to cover up the bruise on my face! Jeff was a monster. He not only drank and beat me, but he also betrayed our marriage. He even fucked my kitchen-maid!”

I squeezed the glass in my hand. Ron's betrayal made me hate every man who cheated on his wife, and Jeff beat up his wife. It was a far cry from his usual polite image!

Men are hypocrites and good at pretending!

Liv wiped the tears from her eyes with her fingers, “I don't care who killed him, but I'm grateful to the murderer, and now I'm free to spend his money. This membership card used to belong to Jeff.”

She held the gold card between her fingers and said, “Now it's mine!”

Liv pressed her lips to my earlobe and said sharply, “After the funeral, guess what I did? I peed on Jeff's tombstone!”

She looked up and laughed, her chest heaving like water waves! There was a look of revenge in her eyes!

I bowed my head in silence. I finally remembered that Liv had come to see me last life and asked me about divorce. She's hoping Ron can convince Jeff to get a divorce. However, Ron rejected her and said that she had no right to file for divorce. Their partnership should last until death!

When I told Liv the news, she turned away without a word. Then I never saw her again.

But now Jeff is dead and Liv is free! Does that mean my life can change, too?

“Eva, now I understand!” Liv said, staring at me. “As a woman, if you want a diamond, bug it. If you want a man...”

She paused deliberately, then looked at the waiter coming over with his drink. “If you want a man, f.uck him!”

After saying that she smiled and pulled on the man's underwear. The masked man was not only not angry, but sat down to her side. Then they kissed without any scruples, like a couple in love.

At their passion, the couch will be their temporary sex bed. In order not to disturb them, I choose to take the initiative to leave the booth.

I looked around the bar until I saw Ron's face on the side of a booth near the corner. There was a woman with red curls in his arms. I couldn't see her face, but I knew it was Gina. I'll never forget her red curls. She always looks cocky when she touched it on purpose.

Damn it, I'm gonna run over there right now and rip her face off!

I rushed to them, but suddenly a shadow blocked my way.

I felt dizzy and dropped my sunglasses. As I bent over to pick them up, a strong hand grabbed my wrist.

I saw a man staring at me with his deep green eyes!

He looks drunk! Oh, my God, he's so gorgeous.

In fact, his face was so stunning. He had a perfect square jaw, full lips, high cheekbones, and a broad forehead. His silver hair was thick and curly.

He was a big, tall man.

His muscles were strong and well-proportioned, and in the dim light, they were a healthy golden yellow.

God, he's so charming. And his body also exudes a strange sweet smell, like chamomile and fresh oranges!

“Mia, is you?” The man muttered to himself. “No, it can't be!”

“Sorry, I don't know you!” I was anxious to get away from the man's hands, but they held me like a pair of tongs. His tall body closed in on me, forcing me to step back until my back was against the wall.

I pushed him with my hand, but he pressed his whole body against mine. My breathing quickened at once.

“Please,” the man whispered, “Talk to me!”

“Since you won't let me go, I have nothing to say.”

He used the tip of his nose across my side of the face. The hot air from the man's nose poured directly into my ears, and I felt itchy!

“My dear!” He said.

“Get away! I'm not your dear!” I roared. “Let me go!”

“I won't let you leave me, never!” The man wrapped his iron arms around me, and I couldn't resist his strength.

It's no use screaming for help at this point. No matter what happens in this porn bar, screaming is considered normal. So I continued to resist, but the man laughed even more triumphantly.

God damn it! Is there somebody help me stop this maniac?

“Boss!” A man's hurried voice came from the side. “You have an urgent call!”

“Fuck off!” While the man turned his head, I raised the thigh to the man's lower body to kick him. I feel like my knee is touching a hard rock!

Then I heard curses.

I ran away and saw Ron walking away with Gina in his arm towards the door of the bar.

No, I'm going after them!

But when I ran outside the bar, I couldn't find Ron. he was out of my sight again.

The sweet smell came again, and I dared not linger. So I rushed to my car and opened the door with great speed. I drove the car like I was running for my life.

Through the rearview mirror, I saw my pale face in, like a frightened rabbit after being chased by a tiger! The man's words always echoed in my ears.

“My dear!”

What the f.uck!

I stepped on the gas pedal and sped up. The car was speeding down the road. I can't remember how many red lights I passed by. Now I just want to go home.

Just then, a shadow rushed from the grass by the road. God! I slammed on the brakes and the steering wheel almost hit me in the forehead!

S.hit, did I hit something?
